♦ 취지 목적 ♦
재미 이산가족상봉추진위원회 (Divided Families in USA) 남가주 지회는 시카고에 본부를 둔 재미 이산 가족상봉 추진위원회 (Divided Families in USA) 취지 목적 ( Mission Statement) 인 < The mission of the National Coalition on the Divided Families is to reunite Korean Americans with their family members in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, to find out what has happened to their family members in the DPRK, to exchange letters and videos between Korean Americans and their family members in the DPRK, and / or to reunited through audio devices under the protection and support of the United State government. The Coalition’s mission shall hot be related to other human rights issues such as North Korean defectors or the refugee issue.> 에 적극 동의하고 이를 준수한다.
♦ 활동사업 ♦
- 남가주내 이산가족 실태를 파악하고 쉿로 시카고 본부와 협의한다.
- 남가주내 이산가족내 차세대들의 모임도 적극 주선하고 이들에게 이산가족상봉의 역사와 취지 목적 그리고 통일에 대하여 교육 시킨다
- 남가주 지역 미연방의회 의원들과 교류하여 재미이산가족상봉추진의 의미를 알려 입법이 되도록 노력한다
- 남가주 지역 내 유관 한인 단체들과 교류하여 우리의 취지 목적이 성취하는데 노력한다.
